Pre-requisites

To be successful, learners who attend this course must have working knowledge of SQL and RDBMS concepts, and Pass a SQL test, to be inducted into the course. A Business Analyst must have basic database concepts to fit in the IT industry. Students who have no prior background of SQL will be guided by our staff to various self study links on SQL or may participate in workshops and gear up in the SQL area. Students must have a MIS inclination and excellent communication skills and a strong desire to work in a highly communicative and fast moving world.

Logistics of the Course

This comprehensive instructor-led course that will span over 4 weeks spanning 40 hours of instruction and access to case studies.

The base lectures are conducted by in-house experts who have more than a decade of Business Analysis experience and are exposed to various modules and there will be one guest lecture by an industry experts who is carrying forth a BA role with a Fortune 100 company currently.

Every lecture is concluded with a case study. Students are encouraged to discuss their issues they faced completing the case studies during the class. Students use google groups to communicate with each other and google docs to review material.

Project Work

After the Completion of the 4 week course students are required present their case study and explain what they have accomplished as a business analyst.

Audience

The target audience for this course will be beginners with a US Masters degree or experienced professionals who have a strong desire to be a business analyst.

Students will be able to understand the basic techniques of Business Analysis and the Artifacts a business analyst is expected to deliver and the methodologies and the buzz words needed. Due to our case studies students will be able to perform as a business analyst and hit the ground running when deployed into projects.
